I’ll see if I can figure out what file needs to be “modded” in order to use the “newest” drivers unless someone can find the eariler post on this subject.
I have no idea why this didn’t work before! Have a code issue? I get the warning that Windows can’t verify that the chosen driver is compatible with the hardware but I click through and it works and then I have network connectivity.
I have a forum post about this problem and it effects everyone with the CHVF-Z the driver from windows IS the only driver that works with this LAN and is over 1 year old so does not benefit from optimisations and as I said only has the basic driver and not the full driver that I am accustom too, please escalate this to the relevant team to investigate. D I’ll upload the version for you. I swear I’ve tried this way before Intel V network card is being detected in 8.

Win 8 will reject it unless you disable driver signing and install.

Have you guys tried any of these yet? Any attempt to upgrade to either the Asus NIC drivers or the straight from intel drivers results in the error of “no srever r adapter found on this computer. At the other desktop it’s the same as yours. I’m using Windows Server R2 though. See this post http: You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
